About Me

I am Jen Thompson, I got my first taste of breed ring showing with Akitas. I showed a bitch for my friends Scott and Nancy of  Chateau Akitas.

They sent me for both breed handling and obedience lessons as well as gave me a strong foundation in dog training and behavior. I am hooked  and have now branched out to Border Collies.

I believe if I do not like what the Border Collie is becoming it is my job as a responsible lover of the breed to try and change what is out there winning in the breed ring.

 I have been an AKC breed mentor and presenter for the Border Collie Society of America for about 6 years. My dogs and I have been honored to be a part of the Judges Education Seminars in Pennsylvania, Maryland and at many Border Collie National Specialties.
